Cher Lyn is a Mystic, a shamanic visionary painter, priestess of ceremony and much more. Her given medicine name, translates to, “Keeper of Sacred Altars,” she was given this name as she was observed in the integrity of how she creates ceremonies, orchestrates her environment and devotional practice. Her art reflects a deep connection to the sacred feminine and shows a profound reverence for a universal interconnectedness. As a shamanic healer she’s developed her own unique style while painting in daily dedication since 1986. Inspired in nature while living on Ancient Chumash ceremonial land in the mountains of Malibu, Calif. to include the Red Rocks of Sedona, AZ., Maui’s magical Hawaii and Glastonbury, England on the Holy Isle of Avalon.
Crossing all international lines her art elicits profound responses from people of all ages and walks of life. She is self-taught visionary who explores in-depth the invisible worlds of spirit, bringing back image and symbol to paint the messages onto the canvas. The images invite you past the borders of her paintings and guide you to explore multidimensional worlds of myth, emotion and texture.

Prophetic art such as this makes visible the unseen realms of the more subtle and intuitive states of our existence; it’s pioneering symbols make way for passage into remembrance. In using art as a tool for transformation, we have the opportunity to create a reality as magically beautiful, healthy and prosperous as our infinite imagination chooses to express.

In preparation and during the process of painting, I begin in prayer and meditation, using sacred water, geometry and essences, I use shamanic tools to bring in a high quality of Spirit and most important, I trust and play.”

“I watch in awe as Spirit emerges onto my canvas, showing me a very real magic truly does exist. I feel these powerful images are coming through into this dimension specifically for this moment in time. Although I paint to transform myself, it is always with the intention that the paintings go on to illuminate all who gaze upon them.”

Cher Lyn currently works out of her gallery in Stone Age Sedona, and some summers are spent painting in Glastonbury, England. In Sedona she does spiritual counseling using various modalities of healing such as medicine card readings, sound healing using her crystal didgeridoo, bowls and vocal toning, as well offering the transformative art in her soul paintings. Cher also combines the healing work and ceremony in the medicine wheel at the rock altars she’s painted in Sedona. “I have learned through my shamanic experiences, awareness into the importance of integrating the shadow and the light. I know both are contributing factors to rediscovering wholeness. What we resist really does persist.”
Cher is an alchemist and has a gift for piercing through the veils of illusion and following it all the way through… to love. With intuition as her guide, passion for the Sacred in everything and Faith in the Divine, she’s leads quite the “Shamanic way of life.” She has followed a traditional way, practicing Native American ceremony since 1996. Her personal experiences with mystics and indigenous healers from around the world, her activism work on the reservations, as well as being a perceptive astral traveler starting at the age of 4, have enriched and contributed to her gift essence and journey. Shamans from many various cultures have blessed her hands, in particular and activated the continuance of the healing gifts she incorporates into her work.  These experiences in conjunction with years of selfless devotional prayer for the Earth and Humanity have all played a role in her mystic art medicine and who she is today.

“What was once lost… is now found.” Cher Lyn stands in the power and presence of her life’s higher purpose to shine her example for others.  Her passion for reawakening the Love in each “One,” through story telling, art, nature, poetry, musical intonations and vibrational healing allow her to assist others to their own uniting remembrance.

*A percentage of the proceeds from the sales of her original art go directly to support conscious awareness in the areas of preservation for indigenous cultures and the environment of our Mother Earth.
