Cher Lyn is a mystic visionary painter, a shamanic healer, and an original artist who has painted in daily dedication since 1986. She has long been inspired by nature and has lived and painted on Ancient Chumash ceremonial land in the mountains of Malibu, California, in the Red Rocks of Sedona, Arizona, Maui’s magical Hawaii and in Glastonbury, England on the Holy Isle of Avalon.
Crossing all international lines Cher’s work elicits profound responses from people of all ages and walks of life. Various Indigenous peoples from around the world have recognized her art as a pure source of expression. Cher is a self-taught visionary artist who travels the physical world, yet even more in-depth as a shamanic traveler through the invisible worlds of spirit. She brings back messages in image and symbol to paint the journey’s magic onto the canvas.
The Spiritual Beings she connects with express through her messages of illumination. Her intentions are to bring the essence of her journeys to life onto the canvas and for the paintings to activate all who gaze upon them. The images invite you past the borders of her paintings and guide you through multidimensional worlds of mystical story myth, emotion and texture.
“Art has been my personal journey through deep inner healing and spiritual awakening. In preparation and during the process of painting, I begin with a prayer and use meditation, sacred essences and shamanic instruments such as crystal bowls, drums, rattles, and didgeridoo, to call in energies of love.
I open myself up to the grace and guidance of the Creator bringing the essence of my journeys to life through from the Christ consciousness for healing. I believe very deep aspects of myself are coming through from other dimensions for healing, specifically for this moment in time.
I watch as Spirit emerges onto my canvas, showing me a very real magic truly does exists. One can awaken through this imagery to the inter-dimensional relationships, bridging the Spiritual realms and the rainbow rays integrating with the Earth plane. While I paint to transform myself, it is always with the intention that the paintings go on to illuminate all who gaze upon them.
My love for Native Americans and all indigenous cultures began as a young child. I honour their way of reverence towards the Earth and do my best to live my life accordingly. They are guardians of our Earth Mother, and I gain much by listening to their ancient wisdom and teachings.
I give a percentage of the proceeds from the sales of my art to support conscious awareness in the areas of preservation for indigenous cultures and the environment of our Mother Earth.”
