Honoring The Goddess

It had been a long time since I had started an original painting. Spirit had called me to Sedona, Arizona months ago and the ensuing move from my Malibu mountaintop studio had consumed much of my time. I had finally settled into my new Sedona studio and I was asked to participate in what was called "The Mother Show", a group art show with several contributing women artists to help up-lift consciousness in this these difficult times with our patriarchal rulers neglecting the Mother. I decided to create a special piece for this show and felt it would be a perfect beginning in my new studio space.
"Honoring the Goddess" is my first completed creation from beginning to end, since I've arrived in Sedona. I began the painting by calling on the Goddess. I lit one white candle and one blue candle. I burned sage and frankincense to clear the area, the canvas, me, and to raise the vibrations for the Goddess to work through me. I toned with my voice, chimes and a Tibetan bowl. I used the Spirit colours of light blue, violet, white and silver because they are of a higher vibratory rate. I felt a very High Divine energy coming through. After the base coat dried I could not deny a head was in the centre of the painting and it was definitely a male essence.
Curious as to why a male was there and not the feminine, being that I did call on "Her", I still continued to trusted that all was in Divine order and at the same time, I also knew I had several other Goddess pieces I could submit for the show. I developed the male form. He is a very High Being; there was no question there. As it unfolded I found him Praying. The Goddess at His crown holds her left hand over His third eye and Her sexual Chakra, which is where she creates from. Her right hand holds a lotus, the universal symbol of life in ancient Lemoria , the land of Mu.
As I was painting in the stars I realized the Image of God and Goddess are the universes creating universes. The male and female energies joined together are necessary for us to re-create ourselves into paradise. Om Mani Padme Hum subtly written in Sanskrit in the background sky is a mantra for awakening the Divine Jewel within our Heart.
Excited beyond words I Prayed in gratefulness. I called on the Goddess and God came too!
